Hi Erin -
The "table runner" is actually just an idea I created digitally - but you can make a DIY version of this look by using a pink runner lined with white ribbon on a black tablecloth. If you can't find a pink runner, you can create your own using pink fabric or solid pink gift wrap, then "trimming" the edges with fabric ribbon.

Here are a couple other posts that might be helpful to your theme as well:

Good luck with the shower!

I went with a theme like this for the last baby shower I planned in October 05. I found napkins with the same image on them as the plate you've shown, and instead of using plates to match (I thought it would be a bit cheesy to have matching plates and nakins) I went with an assortment of pink and green plates, balloons, and found great fabric with those colors to put on the gift table. On the wall, I took baby/toddler photos of the couple, turned them all into b/w images, and blew them up. Around the images, I created decorative borders out of handcut flowers I made. The tables all had crisp white linens and the centerpieces were ceramic baby booties, some rocking horses, others teddy bears, all in white with pink/green/silver/white balloons tied to them. Fresh flowers were the centerpiece on the gift table. We had a buffet style luncheon, 95 people attended, jack -n-jill. it was a great time.

My friend is very fashionable, having been in the beauty/fashion industry for many years. Being 40 and having her first child, she definitely qualified as MOD MOM! :)

GREAT post!
Holly
