Posting Pink!
categories: give back, think pink
Sarah from Toast and Tables forwarded an email to me a few weeks ago with the fantastic idea for as many bloggers as possible to post pink on October 1st in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. My mother-in-law was suddenly diagnosed with breast cancer about a year ago and just finished her chemo and radiation treatments in August, so this is an issue that’s become even more apparent and important to me this year than ever before. I’m more than happy to participate in the pink posting movement and highlight some cool products and gift ideas that support the cause!
{Pictured above} Bella’s Confections – gourmet fudge “pink october” tin. $2 from each $12.95 tin goes to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.
{Pictured above} Pink Twist Wine Opener and Amaryllis in Bamboo Box from Red Envelope. 10% proceeds from their entire ThinkPink collection goes to the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund; Benevolent Bouquet cookies from Elenis. 50% of the net proceeds from each tin goes to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation; Juicy Couture Key to the Cure t-shirt ($35/each). 100% of the proceeds benefit the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund.
{Pictured above} Cute Breast Cancer Awareness key rings and cell phone charms from Coach. 20% of the proceeds benefits the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

I love them all! I just got the pink Dyson too, which goes to breast cancer research.
Also, on my blog all month I am having pink giveaways to help spread the word, so be sure to come by for your chance to win things.
