holiday lights

categories: christmas, fabulous gift ideas, holiday ideas, hostess gift ideas

Artist Adam Frank truly takes candlelight to the next level with his lumen candles – a series of beautiful, stainless steel oil lamps that cast intricate silhouettes of pine, magnolia, or cedar trees on the wall. As the flame flickers, the shadow silhouettes “dance”. ($48/ea at Red Envelope)

And a few more pretty candle picks from Red Envelope’s holiday shop… good tidings candles ($30/set of 4); large, hand-painted holly berry candle ($55), and year of wishes candles ($75/set of 12).

I really love them, too. I posted them the other day as well. You’re right—great minds.

What happened to the giveaway madness? The posting on the 4th says you’d announce one a day starting on Monday..no announcement that I can see…? :(

Anyhow, congrats on the newsletter! Looks great!

    Hi *sossip –
I’m so sorry about the giveaways! I have them ready to go – but Blogger is having major issues and for some reason my new posts won’t publish! Also – for some reason my last post post from yesterday suddenly disappeared and is not showing up on the blog at all today, even though I can still see it in my blogger admin area.

So at this point I can’t post the giveaways and I can’t update the old posts to let people know what’s going on – which is beyond frustrating! Going to have to make the switch to Wordpress sooner rather than later I think! Ugh…please bare with me in the meantime while we try to get this fixed! :)

I don’t think they’re available at Red Envelope anymore, but you can purchase them directly from Adam Frank here: http://www.adamfrank.com/lumen/lumen_line.htm
