categories: dinnerware, eco-chic, fabulous finds

sarah cihat rehabilitated dishware

Sarah Cihat’s Rehabilitated Dishware collection is so creative and unique! Cihat takes used or unwanted ceramics from second-hand stores and resurfaces them with modern colors and interesting designs, extending the life of the dishes and essentially transforming them into entirely new pieces!

The dinnerware features contemporary silhouettes such as birds, animals, anchors, tatoo-style roses, fleur-de-lis, and more… even an astronaut and a rocker chick design (both pictured below)

This has got to be one of the most fun finds I’ve seen in some time. I think I need more room in the butler’s pantry. I mean, cassette tape plates? How crazy fun are those?

I love this site! My daughter, Hilary, sent it to me! I’m going to try some of the sewing tips in my shop Snippets,a sewing bar and lounge.

I have coveted her designs ever since I laid eyes on them several years ago in Organic Style. One of these days I’ll have to get some for myself!
