categories: decorating ideas, get inspireddecor8 just wrapped up a super inspiring mood board contest sponsored by fabulous textile designer Amy Butler, and it’s definitely worth checking out – but a word of warning: be prepared to get stuck to the screen for quite a while!
The winners were announced today, but all of the finalists were honestly amazing – there are so many creative people out there! 3 of my personal favorites are pictured here…{click on the images to view larger}

As a novice quilter, I love using Amy Butler fabrics for adding modern touch to a “traditional” project. It’s nice to see how the fabrics inspire people outside of sewing and quilting! I think I’m going to use this method to plan my 30th birthday party!

Great idea, Melissa! I actually used her fabric to inspire a bridal shower once too. I used it for the table runner and as backing in some of the decorative frames. It’s called “Contemporary Crush” – here’s the link to it in the Party Themes section.
Happy early birthday! 30 is a fun one – I just celebrated mine in December.
