entertaining on a budget ideas

Today on Simply Stated: check out a follow up to the “Entertaining on a Budget” article I posted over at Celebrations earlier in the year. “Entertaining on a Budget – Part 2” highlights some budget-wise ideas sent in by readers after the original post.

If you have additional tips & tricks for stretching your dollars when it comes to entertaining, please share them with us here or over at Celebrations. Something tells me people will be especially interested this year!

I’m a big fan of clear glass dishes too. It’s a toss up if white or clear is better, but I’ve made great use of my glass dishes!

Hi! I ove your blog! Your layout is so pretty. I just started a blog about a month ago- and can’t figure out how to post multiple pix like you do in one place…. If you have time, could you drop me a line?

    Hi Liz –
    Thanks for the kudos!

Regarding the imagery – I first create my image collages in Photoshop, then upload them to the blog – so even though there are multiple shots, it’s actually just one image.

If you don’t have a photo editing program similar to Photoshop, another alternative would be to create collages in Flickr. You can upload several images to a gallery, then use their built-in functionality to create a collage from as many of them as you want – then post that single image that Flickr creates to your blog. It takes some extra effort, but at least it’s an option!

    Cheers,
    Jenn
