I’m a little late in reading it, but this article rings true for any gathering with food! My husband is allergic to dairy, eggs and tuna, and I really can’t emphasize what it means to both of us when a host remembers to save the ingredient labels or makes sure ahead of time that there’ll be plenty for him to eat. It’s a gracious and thoughtful touch, and really goes a long way to make him feel less like a nuisance or afterthought and more like a welcome guest.
