I know that Valentine’s Day has come & gone, but we wanted to show some LOVE to our community members by sharing some of their adorable Valentine themed albums for this week’s Party of 5. There’s so much creative eye candy to admire here – and you might just find some inspiration for non-Valentine themed parties too… maybe tailoring some of these ideas to a love-themed bridal shower or sweet shoppe birthday party! And ANY day is good for a S’more Luv Milkshake, right?! ;) Just click on a party title or collage to check out the full album & details.

Happy belated Valentine’s Day! I’ve been in LA the past couple days getting ready for TODAY’s big “A Star is Born” Operation Shower event, so Valentine’s Day somehow got away from me yesterday with all the last minute details for the event. I still wanted to share this adorable DIY feature from Abby of Style Me Pretty with you though because 1) it’s SUPER CUTE!, and 2) most of these project concepts can be tailored to other themes or parties as well…

Read on for full DIY details on all 3 projects, as told by Abby. Enjoy!

We’re going “postal” over this adorable “Cupid’s Love Post Office” Valentine’s Day party created by Debbie of Wants and Wishes Design. It’s simply LOVE-ly!
The faux post office Debbie created – complete with pink and red awning – is just too cute. Some of my favorite details include the 3D heart shaped cupcake toppers that double as perfect little pockets for love notes and candy, the shot through the heart brownies, and all the postage stamp bag toppers. The hanging polka dot gable box and “Cupids’s Love Mail” postage stamp sign are the perfect addition. There’s just way too much cuteness packed into one party here!
Read on for lots more adorable photos and party details. . . .

I’m excited to share this fun little “Pinwheel Party Trio” project with you today because it’s easy, budget-friendly and super versatile! I themed this centerpiece for Valentine’s Day, but it would work just as well for everything from birthday parties or baby showers to bridal showers and weddings – simply tailor the colors & patterns to whatever your occasion may be…

This particular project was also the very first time I tried out my new Cricut Mini, and boy was it nice to not have to hand-cut the paper elements for once! Amazing how much smoother the cut lines came out too. ;) All I had to do to whip up these little pinwheels was load the scrapbook paper into the machine, select the digital 3D Paper Pinwheels cartridge within the Cricut Craftroom, scale them to the sizes I wanted, and press “Cut”.
Because these pinwheels are pretty small in general, the holes for the center (where each section meets) were teensy, so I used inexpensive clear and red diamond diamante pins in lieu of brads and secured them behind the back of the pinwheel with an earring back. You can get diamond diamante pins in packs of 100 for only $2.99 at save-on-crafts.com, and plastic earring backs are super cheap in the jewelry aisle of most craft stores.
This sweet and simple Valentine’s Day dinner party is easy enough for even the last minute planner to pull off in a pinch, while the festive aqua & red color palette make for a lasting impression! From the delicate hearts pattern on the table covering to the pretty vintage aqua glassware filled with ever-so-sweet baby’s [...]
Today we’re getting ready for Cupid’s holiday with a luscious Valentine’s Day dessert that will melt your heart!
